I just received an e-mail from Crabtree & Evelyn stating that they have filed for Chapter 11 in bankruptcy court.
It continues to astound me how many companies are going out of business or reorganizing. Let’s hope the economy recovers as soon as possible!
Unlike Smith & Hawken which filed Chapter 7 and is liquidating, Crabtree & Evelyn is reorganizing and will continue to operate.
