On Nightly Business Report tonight, they reported that Foot Locker is closing some of their retail stores. A quick search online confirms this, and when I think about it, its comes as no surprise to me.

I agree, I haven't been too happy with my shopping experiences there or Lady Footlocker. I am not surpised to hear they aren't doing well. Customer service goes a long way and lasts in the memory as long as a bad experience. Lately I've gone to DSW for shoes the CS is soso, but the shoes and sneakers are generally cheaper than places llike Foot Locker. Most online stores are doing a pretty good job with CS these days and the prices are generally better than retail stores, and with places like Zappos and Piperlime doing free shipping both ways, and a huge selection, its getting tougher to compete.
