Rite Aid and Eckerd Complete Merger

Rite Aid and Eckerd announced today that they have completed their merger. This event is the culmination of a few brands getting combined: Rite Aid, Eckerd, and even Brooks Pharmacy. Together, these pharmacies comprise over 5,000 retail storefronts, competing with the likes of CVS and Walgreens.

I've only been to one Eckerd (in Pennsylvania), a few different Brooks (Massachusetts), Rite Aid (New York City), and a whole bunch of CVS stores, and so far my favorite is CVS. They are clean and well organized. That being said, there is still so much room for improvement with the merchandising and shopping experience within pharmacies.
