I used to love Nalgene bottles, but I have been reading more and more that we shouldn't be using plastic containers for water (and other liquid) storage. Nalgene does use the thicker plastic that is supposed to be less dangerous but nonetheless, it's plastic. There are Sigg bottles which are enamel coated aluminum, and they are recyclable too. They are a little pricier but you can find deals on them at places like www.rei-outlet.com.
